Self-owned Brands with Quality Production in China
In recent years, the division has increasingly become a trend in Chinese automotive industry. Chinese independent automotive brands are experiencing a sharp rising. With the car ownership exceeding 4.7million units in Chengdu, the automotive market in western China has become a focus to be competed by large automakers in the new round of competition. Many famous brands select CDMS as a place to crown the championship in the sales season of “Golden September and Silver October” in the second half of 2018. At CDMS 2018, Geely, Great Wall and other domestic independent brands expand their stands successively and bring various kinds of brand-new models. Among them, the sales volume of Geely in the first half of 2018 achieved a year-on-year growth of 44%. New energy and New Power
On December 27, 2017, a piece of news shocked the automotive market and the stock market. Ministry of Finance, together with Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, State Administration of Taxation and Ministry of Science and Technology, announced that the vehicle purchase tax for any purchase of new energy vehicles would be exempted from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2020. In addition, the production and sales volume of new energy vehicles are expected to reach 1 million in 2018.
