2018-9-19
The 20th China International Industry Fair (CIIF) is grandly opened at National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) today. Nine professional exhibitions continue to build an annual “mega industrial show” in Shanghai. As two core themed shows of CIIF, Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show 2018 (MWCS) and Industrial Automation Show 2018 (IAS) respectively attract more than 600 and nearly 700 well-known enterprises at home and abroad, with display areas hitting 80,000 sqm and 70,000 sqm. The two shows are organized by Deutsche Messe AG and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd.
The reform on the supply side is now making a difference in economic transformation and restructuring, and overall production factors have realized optimal allocation after the holding of the 19th CPC National Congress and the middle period of the 13th Five-Year Plan. Due to the sustainable strategy and rapid development of Chinese industries such as automobile, rail transit, communication, aviation, aerospace, ship, electrical equipment, construction machinery and agricultural machinery, a huge industry demand will occur in the CNC machine market and metalworking market. As one of the most influential international metalworking shows in the Asian-Pacific region, MWCS always keeps an eye on the development trend of connected industries to seize market opportunities and help enterprises realize technological transformation and upgrading.
This year, MWCS additionally use 1H Hall to meet the increasing demands of exhibitors. More than 600 domestic and overseas top enterprises including Trumpf, Amada, Salvagnini, Bystronic, Prima Power, Mitsubishi Electric, Mazak, Murata, BLM, Han’s Laser, Lead Laser, Huagong, Penta Chutian, Yangli, Yawei, JFY, Accurpress, Arku, Wila, nLight, Messer, Schroeder, LVD and Smart Prima will comprehensively display a range of processes including laser cut welding, stamping, shear plate, bending, robot, flexible production line, 3Dprinting, laser generator, measurement testing and surface treatment in respect of metal plate, laser and cold processing forming in four themed halls.
Influenced by national policies such as “Made in China 2025“ and “The Belt and Road“, an increasing number of manufacturing enterprises make transformations and invest in automation industry to increase their production potential. As an industry-themed professional show, IAS always focuses on comprehensive solutions, production and process automation, electrical systems, robotics, industrial IT and manufacturing informatization, as well as microsystem technology in industrial automation sector. After more than one decade of development, the show is now becoming one of the most high-profile industrial automation shows in Asia and the top choice and bellwether of China’s industrial automation theme exhibition.
IAS 2018 attract nearly 700 famous brands including Siemens, Phoenix, Festo, SMC, Advantech, Bosch, Misumi, Omron, Mitsubishi, Keyence, Delta, Invt, Inovance, Turck, Pilz, Weidmüller, Wago, Eplan, IFM Electronic, ELCO, Pepperl+Fuchs, Rittal, Balluff, Hiwin, Beckhoff, Desoutter, Servotronix Motion Control, Sick, Lenze, CHELIC, IMI NORGREN, AirTAC, Hongfa, EURA DRIVES, Dinkle and SwitchLab to showcase products such as assembling and handling system/linear positioning system, control system, industrial image processing system, sensor and actuator, embedded system, measurement and test systems, industrial automation data acquisition and identification system and factory’s integrated management software.
Application and Development Forum of High Speed Metal Cutting 2018, The 17th MES (manufacturing execution system) Development & Application Conference, 2018 Annual Conference of Shanghai Association of Automation, The Internet of things makes intelligent manufacturing simpler— the first IT, OT and CT fusion innovation forum, Industrial Parts Matchmaking Symposium and many other summits and technical exchanges are to be held concurrently to discuss the development trend of industry and boost “Made in China 2025”.
