CeMAT ASIA 2018 to Create an Annual Logistics Feast

As one of Asia’s largest and most influential logistics exhibitions - CeMAT ASIA will be once again held at Shanghai New International Expo Center on 6-9 November 2018. With a display area of nearly 70,000 sqm, the exhibition will cover ten themed sectors of system integration and solutions, automatic guidance vehicles (AGV), forklift and accessories, transmission sorting equipment, logistics robots, AUTO-ID, machine vision, packaging equipment, lifting equipment and accessories. 630 well-known domestic and foreign companies have registered for the exhibition, which aims to create a high-end industrial platform for multiple perspectives of display, in-depth exchanges and all-round cooperation.

Strong lineup of exhibitors accelerates industrial upgrading
Industrial upgrading has now become the top priority of the entire manufacturing industry. “Industrie 4.0” and “Made in China 2025” are not only long-term goals, but are also gradually practiced in the logistics equipment industry. CeMAT ASIA 2018 will continue to deepen the theme of “smart logistics” and continue to lead the development trend of intelligent logistics industry. As the core strength of logistics equipment industry, system integration exhibitors have always been one of the highlights of CeMAT ASIA. This year, Hall W1 and W2 will once again gather Dematic, SSI Schaefer, TGW, Honeywell, Vanderlande, SFA, Fives, BMHRI, RIAMB, CSSC, VSTRONG, BlueSword, Zhongding Integration, Anji and other domestic and foreign big-names of integration exhibitors, to give solutions for the majority of buyers.

It is worth mentioning that the forklift companies such as Hangcha, BYD, Ningbo Ruyi, and TVH will showcase their lightweight and intelligent forklifts in Hall W5. The Second “China Industrial Trucks Innovation Award (CITIA) Ceremony” will be held concurrently and its trucks display area will be located in the outdoor C2 pavilion. Visitors can see the most cutting-edge achievements of innovations in Chinese industrial trucks innovation. In addition, traditional robot manufacturers such as ABB, FANUC, SIASUN, Quicktron, Geek, Hikvision, Zhuineng and Ares will make their debut; AGV brands such as Comwin, Jingyuan, SIWI, i-COW, Bozhon, AGV and CoTeck will come to Hall W3 and W4 with their brand-new technology.

E-commerce boosts intelligent logistics
In recent years, the rapid development of e-commerce industry has been one of the greatest impetus for the entire logistics industry to move forward. The rounds of climax have changed the society’s perception of the logistics industry. In the Chinese logistics equipment market, in addition to logistics equipment providers and system integrators, giants in “cross-border” e-commerce are also showing unprecedented enthusiasm for participation. JD.com, a big name in e-commerce registers at CeMAT ASIA 2018 for the first time. Cainiao, Suning, NetEase Kaola and SF-Express will also participate as important guest speakers and visitors, adding new vitality to the exhibition. In the future, e-commerce companies will surely become the strong force to promote the development of domestic intelligent logistics.

The Blue Book of Logistics Sector makes a debut at the show
Rooted in Chinese logistics market for nearly 20 years, CeMAT ASIA has attracted a wide range of attention and earned trust in the industry, and become an important platform for enterprises to keep abreast of authoritative information about Chinese logistics industry. It is worth noting that 2016-2017 China Logistics Warehousing Equipment Industrial Development Report (Blue Book) will be released at CeMAT ASIA 2018, which is jointly drafted by Logistics Branch of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Logistics and Warehouse Mechanical Engineering Association and Tongji University under the leadership of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society. The release of this report illustrates the deep integration of CeMAT ASIA with the industry, and demonstrates its great importance in this field.

CeMAT ASIA Innovation Salon focus on industrial hotspots
Each year, a series of dedicated activities are concurrently held to provide customized services to core clients, such as CeMAT ASIA Innovation Salon, Afternoon Tea, Intelligent Club, CeMAT Smart Voice and buyer visit. Among them, CeMAT ASIA Innovation Salon this year-- the most important concurrent activity will be located in the outdoor C1 area. The three-day activity will take “smart logistics” as the theme and invite industrial experts to have dialogues on such hot topics as medical logistics, auto logistics, global market, intelligent manufacturing, intelligent drive and garment logistics, to jointly advance the intelligentization of logistics industry. Meanwhile, many professional forums will also be held concurrently. The topics cover robots, food, ingredient supply chain, pharmaceuticals, cold chain, retail and e-commerce.

Pre-warming of the 20th anniversary of CeMAT ASIA kicks off
Since its inception in 2000, driven by the vigorous development of logistics industry in China, CeMAT ASIA has become a wind indicator of the materials handling and logistics technology industry in Asia. It can be evidenced by the increasingly expanded area of exhibition, constant improvement in the quality of exhibits and the exponential growth of professional visitors. CeMAT ASIA will celebrate its 20th anniversary in October 2019. At CeMAT ASIA 2018, all kinds of pre-warming activities related to the 20th anniversary will be fully launched. At 10:00 a.m. of November 7, the Press Conference & Launching Ceremony of CeMAT ASIA 20th Anniversary and E-pack Tech 2019 will be held in M2 meeting room of Hall W2. Organizers will announce the overall image of the 20th anniversary, and launched the project of Visit China to collect and review the development history of 20 years, and make global promotion with the help of domestic and foreign professional media. In addition, organizers will carefully prepare for the exhibition surroundings and gifts to express gratitude to supporters.

Jointly organized by China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (CFLP), Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES), Deutsche Messe AG and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd, CeMAT ASIA 2018 is parallel with PTC ASIA, ComVac ASIA, Industrial Supply ASIA, Cold Chain ASIA and International Expo for Tech Innovation Parks.
