PTC ASIA 2018 and ComVac ASIA 2018 to Boost the Industry More Intelligent and Green

The leading industry fairs of power transmission and air compression technology- PTC ASIA and ComVac ASIA will be held on November 6-9 this year at Shanghai New International Expo Center. Themed with “Driven to be Smart” as its slogan, PTC ASIA 2018 mainly focuses on intelligent manufacturing, and promotes the practice of “Made in China 2025” with the latest products, technologies and solutions in the industry. The exhibition will attract some 1,300 companies with a display area of 63,500 sqm. As an original sector of PTC ASIA, ComVac ASIA has grown constantly since its inception. This year, it will also bring together 225 companies to showcase their cutting-edge innovative technologies covering the entire industrial chain, so as to boost the development of domestic compressor industry.

PTC ASIA: Driven to be Smart
Covering ten major theme sectors, PTC ASIA 2018 will build a unique trading platform for domestic and overseas companies to expand their international market. Participating companies from Turkey, the United States, Spain, Portugal, Japan, Hungary, Romania, and national pavilions of Germany, Italy and South Korea will together sparkle the show. With the in-deep integration of power transmission manufacturing technology, IT and intelligent technology, the industry’s intelligent manufacturing level and technological innovation capacity have been greatly improved, which led to significant achievements in construction equipment and technologies. Moreover, the industry is accelerating its development in the innovative, high-end, intelligent and green direction, and striving to reach the commanding heights of industrial technology.

At this year’s HANNOVER MESSE in April, the “4.0 Smart Pavilion” organized by Deutsche Messe AG and VDMA attracted big names of power transmission industry to showcase their intelligent solutions in application industries and become a highlight of the exhibition. As one of the worldwide shows of HANNOVER MESSE, PTC ASIA 2018 will put more efforts to build this pavilion. Themed on “Industry 4.0 Ready –Smart Power Transmission and Fluid Power Solutions”, the pavilion will have industry masters such as Lenze, Nord, Flender (Siemens), Sumitomo, HAWE, and ARGO-HYTOS to participate. Meanwhile, jointly organized by VDMA, Smart Manufacturing Forum Powered by VDMA 2018 will allow visitors to have direct contact with the leading technologies of German transmission industry.

With China promoting the construction of “The Belt and Road”, it has brought broad overseas market for fluid power transmission industry. Enterprises actively expand their international business and strengthen the layout of countries along the line. Organizers say that this year’s show receives great supports from CETOP, VDMA, ASSOFLUID, BFPA, KOAMI and BME on attracting overseas visitors and buyer groups. It is estimated that there will be visitors and buyer groups from more than 80 countries and regions to participate. The number of major domestic manufacturing buyer groups is also increasing.

More than 10 summit forums and technical seminars will also be held during the exhibition, including: China International Automotive Transmission and High-Efficiency Transmission Technology Seminar,  Smart Manufacturing Forum Powered by VDMA, Bearing Seminar .

ComVac ASIA Highlights Themed Forums
As a benchmark event in Asia’s compressor industry, ComVac ASIA 2018 will have a display area of 19,000 sqm. Focusing on the three themes of “intelligent manufacturing”, “energy-saving and high-efficiency” as well as “technologically advanced and environmental protection”, the exhibition discusses the high-efficiency and energy-saving solutions of compressors from multiple aspects such as optimization of the complete machine, air system assessment and system energy-saving. The Compressor Themed Forum during the exhibition will invite well-known industrial experts, scholars, and corporate decision-makers to deeply analyze the industrial development trend. Moreover, they also made discussions on such topics as how applications in the aspects of compressed air, vacuum technology and post-treatment of compressed air achieve scientific reduction in pollutions resulting from energy consumption for production, as well as improvement in production process, based on the pharmaceuticals, petrochemical and other user industries. The discussions aim to promote the compressor industry to grow mature in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection and promote the compressor to enter “Intelligent” Manufacturing Era 4.0.

According to the organizers, as the influence of the exhibition continues to expand, the number of compressor manufacturers’ participation has increased year by year. This time the participation ratio of overall compressor machines has exceeded 50% again. CeMAT ASIA, Industrial Supply ASIA, Cold Chain ASIA and International Expo for Tech Innovation Parks will also be held concurrently.
