Metal+Tech 2018 Premieres in Foshan Guangdong

Relying on the resources of HANNOVER MESSE and powered by the Metal Working and CNC Machine Tool Show of China International Industry Fair,  Metal + Tech 2018 will debut on 27-30 November in the Guangdong Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. As a China’s professional show on sheet metal processing technology, Metal + Tech 2018 will focus on the associated industries for flexible processing of sheet metal and Industrie 4.0, aiming to improve the overall processing software and hardware strength of South China and even Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai as the organizer, brings the metal topic to Foshan for in-depth development, in order to provide access for the sheet metal manufacturing enterprises and users in Guangdong area to experience the cutting-edge sheet metal process personally. This year’s show, covering a total display area of 20,000 sqm, will attract some 100 well-known companies from home and abroad.

Highly specialize in sheet metal industry
As a base for metal processing and trading in South China, Foshan is famous for its metal. There is a great demand for sheet metal equipment in the metal logistics parks and steel processing market places that can be seen everywhere in the city. Holding all the advantages,  Metal + Tech 2018 will welcome leading industrial enterprises from more than 10 countries and regions including Germany, the United States, Canada, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, Switzerland, China Hong Kong and China Taiwan, to jointly promote the industrial agglomeration, chain-based and high-end development of sheet metal industry in Southern China.

The fair is the only one event in China that displays the whole industrial chain of sheet metal processing from the raw material, and it also breaks the regional barriers of the industry by seizing the highland of Foshan sheet metal industry with unprecedented international brands.

The exhibition profile will be the metal sheet, finished and semi-finished products, joining and fastening technology, transmission technology, tool technology for sheet processing, separation technology, surface technology, forming technology, process control and quality assurance, flexible sheet metal working technology, data processing, Tube/ section working, information and services, mixed material production processing of sheet metal/plastic hybrid structures, environmental protection of factories and workshops, safety facilities, equipment accessories, innovative technologies of machine elements and components.

Cutting-edge products make debuts in Foshan
Metal + Tech 2018 has not only blazed a trail to meet the needs of metal processing market in Foshan and Guangdong, but also created a most “significant” industry event. The international giants such as Han’s Laser, Hymson, Penta Laser, Yawei, Bodor, Tailift, Deratech, Accurpress, Lead Laser, Smart Prima, Siegmund, ARKU and BLM will show their high-tech products in Foshan as their debut. The new products include the 15KW watt laser cutting machine of Han's Laser, the high-end flexible pipe cutting machine of Hymson, and the ES23X all-electric servo turret-type punch press of Tailift.

It is worth mentioning that Deratech will display the robotic arm bending unit, the UBB gas-electric hybrid bending machine and other equipment that have been exhibited at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) at Metal + Tech 2018. In addition, Bodor, winner of the 2017 export, will showcase the various equipment of Bodor F series that have won the world’s top industrial design award of “Red Dot Award”, at a huge booth of 672 sqm.

Siegmund will bring “Mobile Workstation”, the best product of 2018 German Industry Award; RAS will present the folding machine imported with the original packaging. JISCO and TISCO will present the high-quality metal raw materials on site. Wila, Mate, Accurpress, Lissmac, and Praxair will also bring their professional solutions for the sheet metal field.

Active participation from South China
Metal+Tech 2018 as a professional trade fair has won a lot attention from the industry since its launching. The metal processing enterprises in Foshan and Guangdong have actively organized buyers to the exhibition for procurement. Dozens of professional purchasing groups from Foxconn, Flextronics, Midea, BYD, Gree and Dongfeng Automobile will make their way to the show. The show also cooperates with over 30 industry associations to invite all major sheet metal processing and laser industry peers to Foshan for this international grand event.
