IAMD BEIJING 2019 Rounded off Successfully

The influential industrial automation transmission event in Northern China -- Integrated Automation Motion & Drives Beijing 2019 (IAMD BEIJING 2019) was successfully closed at Beijing Exhibition Centre today. Almost 200 well-known enterprises including Phoenix, Beckhoff, Turck, IFM, Baumer, Cognex, Wago, Rittal, HIWIN, Weidmüller, Desoutter, Pilz, Elmo, Leadshine, KEYENCE, igus, Hilscher, AMP & MOONS, DECA, item, Dinkle, CHELIC, Bernstein and Murrelektronik, showcased the integrated intelligent manufacturing solutions in five sectors of control technology, mechanical infrastructure, sensor connector, digital plant and Application Park on a total display area of 20,000 sqm. The exhibition received nearly 100 buyer groups from both China and abroad and 18,172 visitors in total.

Intelligent Manufacturing and Upgrading Promotes High-quality Development of the Industry
At present, with the constant progress of the new round of technological and industrial revolution, the manufacturing industry has seen a new trend of digital, internet-based and intelligent development. Intelligent manufacturing, as an important future development direction of the industry, is constantly making breakthroughs on new technologies, fostering new formats and promoting high-quality development of the manufacturing industry. At IAMD BEIJING 2019, numerous leading brands have brought various cutting-edge technologies and new application solutions, contributing to the ‘China Intelligent Manufacturing’.

“Application Park” Hits the Market
In recent years, in order to meet the industrial upgrading and market demand, major manufacturers began to provide more customized application solutions to customers on the basis of improving the product performance. Under this circumstance, “Application Park” has been well received by both exhibitors and visitors. This year, the event was still very popular. Wago, Elmo, Beckhoff, IFM, Pilz, Cognex, Hilscher, Nanda Automation Technology, Baumer, Turck and CONEC shared their application solutions and innovative ideas in the fields of automobile, industrial control, Internet of Things, medical treatment, food and agriculture to the visitors.

High-end Forums Lead the Industrial Trend
As the most important activity concurrently held with IAMD BEIJING, 2019 International Intelligent Manufacturing Conference was held on the first day, with the theme of “Intelligent Manufacturing — Global Cooperation and Mutual Benefits”. Besides, the 2018 Development Report on Key Fields of Intelligent Manufacturing in China was released onsite. Mr. Miao Wei Minister of MIIT, Mr. Zhou Ji Member of CAE, Mr. Haluk Menderes Global General Manager of EPLAN, Prof. Toshio Fukuda President-elect of IEEE, Andrew Kusiak Professor of The University of Iowa and Tim Minshall Dean and Professor of Manufacturing College in University of Cambridge respectively made keynote reports.

At the Conference, Mr. Miao Wei emphasized that, the rapid development of artificial intelligence, 5G, Industrial Internet and other emerging technologies has given fresh impetus into intelligent manufacturing. The in-depth expansion of openness and cooperation between countries and enterprises has opened up new space for intelligent manufacturing, but meanwhile, the manufacturing mode of interconnection and sharing has also brought new challenges to the intelligent manufacturing. To further promote the development of intelligent manufacturing, it is necessary to improve infrastructure and vigorously promote the innovative development of Industrial Internet; establish the standard system, and continue to develop the key, common industry application standards and test verification; make efforts to promote industrial applications and develop the system solution suppliers, strengthen personnel training and explore the establishment of training bases for intelligent manufacturing talents. A couple of workshops and seminars also be held during the show to lead the market trend.
