Spotlight on Industrial Internet and 5G, Internet+ Powered by CEBIT 2019 leads the era of intelligent manufacturing

The 5th edition of Internet+ Powered by CEBIT (Internet+ Expo) will take place on 16-19 October at Guangdong Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center in Foshan this year. Themed on “Industrial Interconnection & Digital Intelligence”, this expo will cover a total display area of 55,000 sqm, with an increase of 10% over the last year. 800 well-known enterprises at home and abroad will present various emerging formats and application models in the era of Industrial Internet.

Currently, China’s industry is expediting the implementation of the Industrial Internet. Through the integrated interconnection of people, machines and things, the Industrial Internet vigorously promotes the digital, networked and intelligent transformation of manufacturing. And Foshan is making further efforts in manufacturing in order to lead the construction of the advanced equipment manufacturing industrial belt on the west bank of Pearl River.

In this context, the Internet+ Expo keeps abreast of industry trends and will display technologies and solutions related to Industrial Internet and intelligent manufacturing, with a view to driving industries to advance toward the high end. Huawei, JD.COM, Midea, China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, Xinchuang Tech, Kingdee, GOVMADE, Foshan UCA, idianchou.com, Sino-German Industrial City Alliance, Huashu Robot and other leading enterprises have all confirmed to attend the expo.

As a product of the in-depth integration of new-generation information technology and manufacturing, the Industrial Internet has given rise to a brand-new industrial manufacturing and service system. The commercial application of 5G has accelerated the innovative development of the Industrial Internet. Enhanced bandwidth, massive data and ultra-low latency make 5G a communication channel for the Industrial Internet. 5G has shepherded a new journey of Internet of Everything, in-depth man-machine interaction and intelligent transformation, and spawned many new businesses, new formats and new models, releasing unlimited potential for the digital economy.

As an annual event in the field of Internet Plus in China, this year’s Internet+ Expo will again gather China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom. In June, the three communication giants became the first to receive 5G commercial licenses from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and they will all bring 5G related demonstrations at the expo. China Telecom will showcase its achievements in 5G, cloud computing, big data and smart broadband. China Mobile will display the latest application of 5G through such five modules as “5G+ industrial intelligent manufacturing, 5G+ social management, 5G+ smart people’s livelihood, 5G+ smart family, and 5G+ terminal experience”. China Unicom will display three demonstration modules of 5G frontier technology, digital government affairs and Industrial Internet through application scenarios, implementation cases and interactive experience to reflect the efforts made by China Unicom to benefit people, government and industry in Foshan.

After four years of development, the Internet+ Expo has become a representative industrial Internet exhibition in the field of China’s digital economy, with increasing exhibition internalization and brand influence. The proportion of overseas exhibitors keeps growing. This year’s expo grandly welcomes German and American delegations. The organizer will join hands with ZVEI again to invite executives from BMW, Phoenix and Siemens and jointly hold the cooperation conference to increase exchanges and sharing between China and Germany in “Industrial Internet +” and “intelligent manufacturing.”

G., Institut für Automatisierung und Industrie Technologie GmbH (IAIT), JA Experts AG will bring the lineup of German Industrial Internet application and intelligent manufacturing high-tech and solutions at the Germany Pavilion.

The USA Pavilion will see seven high-tech intelligent manufacturing companies, including Bransys Group, bKL, J Squared Partners, LLC, BrainCo Inc., HERE Technologies, Markable. AI, Met-L-Flo. Robert McCooey, Vice President of Nasdaq, Gary Dvorchak, Executive Director of Blueshirt Group, Rebecca A. Fannin, author of Silicon Dragon and other important guests will be invited to the expo.

Capitalizing on advantageous resource of Deutsche Messe AG, the expo will introduce the “scale11”, which is a high-end platform for domestic start-ups to communicate with international start-up entrepreneurs. More than 20 international start-ups, venture capital companies and start-up partners from Germany and Europe will present their achievements in international innovation and entrepreneurship. They will communicate and discuss the problems of operation and management, venture investment, human resource management and market expansion faced by start-ups. Relevant start-up training courses and innovation and entrepreneurship seminars will be held, and foreign experts will be invited to answer the questions of start-ups.

More than 20 forums and activities will also be held during the expo. The organizers will invite nationally renowned experts, academicians and entrepreneurs to discuss the important strategic ideas of “Industrial Internet+” and “Intelligent+”, in a move to provide a comprehensive support for the construction of a manufacturing power and an Internet power, following the call of the “Made in China 2025” and “Internet+” strategies.
