MWCS 2019 and IAS 2019 Take a Lead in Intelligent Manufacturing

Organized by Deutsche Messe AG and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd, the Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show (MWCS) 2019 and the Industrial Automation Show (IAS) 2019 will kick off at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) on 17-21 September 2019. As two major thematic shows under China International Industry Fair (CIIF), this year’s two shows attract over 600 and nearly 700 well-known enterprises at home and abroad, with display areas hitting 80,000 sqm and 70,000 sqm respectively.

MWCS 2019 – upgrading products in response to the fierce market competition
The total display area of MWCS 2019 reached 80,000 sqm, covering four halls of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) (i.e. 3H, 4.1H, NH and N1H (outdoor hall)). This year’s MWCS attracts over 600 leading enterprises from the world, including Trumpf, Amada, Bystronic, Mazak, PrimaPower, Salvagnini, LVD, Mitsubishi, Murata, Han’s Laser, Laser, Yawei, Lead, Bodor, Accurpress, Penta Laser, JFY, DNE, Hymson, Smart Prima, Tianhong, BLM, IPG, Davi, Arku, Wila and Kasto to comprehensively showcase a range of processes, including laser cut welding, stamping, forming, robot, flexible production line, 3D printing, laser generator, mould, measurement testing and surface treatment in respect of metal plate, metal processing and forming of pipes.

Bodor, a leader in Chinese laser industry, will display its brand-new Bodor Laser 30000W ultra-high power laser cutting machine, which is currently the highest power in China. This model features up to 130mm thickness of cutting stainless steel and 70mm carbon steel, showing its strong capacity of processing ultra-thick plates. Trumpf will bring TruLaser 3040 fiber and TruBend 5130 to explain the ecological trend of machine tools featuring “reducing consumption and increasing efficiency”. Han’s Laser will bring HN-GY-PS60 super laser marking machine, vacuum plasma cleaning machine and robot laser marking workstation to show the strong capability of China's laser technology.

Gary Liu expressed that, as one of the largest international metal processing exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region, MWCS closely follows the industry's frontier trends, pays attention to the industry's development trends, and strives to build an authoritative trading platform for national equipment manufacturing industry and become a main venue for new product releasing in Asia. IAS 2019 – consolidates its leading automation fair position in Asia 
At present, a new round of industrial revolution with artificial intelligence as the core is in the ascendant, this transits the world from an interconnected information era to an intelligent information era. IAS 2019 will present various automation functions of warehousing management, centered on “intelligent logistics warehousing and packaging” at 6.2H dedicated “Industrial Supply Chain” sector.
