Hannover Milano Fairs Alliance with Haiming International Exhibition Group to organize ICE ASIA from 2020

On October 24, the globally leading exhibition organizer -- Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd. and domestically well-known exhibition organizer -- Haiming International Exhibition Group officially reached the strategic cooperation agreement and announced that both parties will jointly organize the ICE ASIA (International Cold Chain Exhibition) since 2020, which will be concurrently held with the International Trade Fair for Materials Handling, Automation Technology, Transport Systems and Logistics (CeMAT ASIA). Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai will be one of the supporting units of the Seventh China Zhengzhou International Logistics Exhibition (ZZILE).

ICE ASIA integrates cold transport, logistics and information technology and builds a professional exhibition of cold chain integrated services, centering on “warehouses”. In recent years, driven by the standardization and branding of agricultural products, along with the favorable scenarios brought by Internet of things, AI, 5G and other new technologies, China’s cold chain logistics industry has begun to enter the fast lane of development. In 2018, China’s total demand for food cold chain logistics was 188.7 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 27.9%. The size of cold chain market was about RMB 300 billion. It is expected to reach RMB 470 billion by 2020, with the annual compound growth rate exceeding 20%. There is still a large room for the development of China’s cold chain logistics and the cold chain industry is bound to usher in transformation and innovation.

CeMAT ASIA and other exhibitions alongside the upstream and downstream of industrial chain will be held concurrently. The total exhibition scale is expected to reach 95,000 square meters, and the Exhibition is expected to attract nearly 1,000 exhibitors. The Exhibition will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center during 3-6 November 2020. By then, the Exhibition will attract trade visitors coming from all over the world in food and beverage, e-commerce, catering and hotel, chain supermarket, franchise and retail, biomedicine, logistics service providers and other fields, leaders of competent government departments, industry associations, well-known media, etc., to visit, purchase and communicate.

The ZZILE 2020 will be hosted at the Zhengzhou International Convention & Exhibition Centre during April 1-3. After six years of development, the ZZILE will base on Zhengzhou, a logistics channel hub connecting home and abroad and radiating East China, West China and Central China, radiate the whole country, and create a one-stop commercial platform in warehousing, transporting, and distributing aspects. Since it valued transport and industrial advantages and market potential of the central region, Hannover decided to serve as a supporting unit of the ZZILE 2020 and become a co-organizer of 2020 China (Zhengzhou) Intelligence Logistics Development Conference, which will be held concurrently with the ZZILE 2020, so as to jointly explore new technologies, models and formats.
