International Fastener Show China 2019 Successfully Rounded off

As one of the top three global fastener exhibitions in the world and the largest one in Asia, International Fastener Show China 2019 (IFS China 2019) was grandly closed today at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. IFS China 2019 covered a total display area of 42,000 sqm, increased by 24% compared to the last year. 725 well-known fastener enterprises worldwide (1936 standard booths) showcased fastener manufacturing machinery, auxiliary equipment, measuring devices, molds, consumption goods, raw materials and fasteners. The show attracted 20 buyer groups and 36,080 trade visitors (of which 4,212 were overseas), including overseas delegations from India, Japan, Reyher, procurement groups, and domestic delegations from Haiyan Association, Dainan Association, Aviation Association, National Fastener Association Standing Committee and Gasgoo.

The presidents from global fastener industry associations and representatives of well-known enterprises attended the opening ceremony and witnessed the grand event with global fastener industry peers, representing the authority and influence of the industry.

Mr. Xue Kangsheng, President of China Fastener Industry Association of China General Machine Components Industry Association (CMCA), addressed at the ceremony, “IFS China 2019 is the only professional fastener show in the industry, which is initiated and organized by CMCA and China Fastener Industry Association with joint support from various local Industry Associations, representing its authority and influence within the industry. All along, China Fastener Industry Association insists on giving full play to the resources advantages at home and abroad, and actively urges fastener enterprises to attend various kinds of exchanges in China and other countries, thus to perform its due responsibilities and play its role in the promotion of reformation, revitalization and development of fastener industry.”

In recent years, the global fastener market has continuously expanded. In the next few years, the global fastener market demand will also rise by a large margin, and is expected to reach 104 billion USD by 2020, of which the Asia-Pacific region will remain the largest regional market. As a big fastener manufacturing country, China's fastener production has ranked in the first place in the world for many years, with high market demand and promising future. With the development of "Smart Manufacturing in China" and "The Belt and Road" strategy, it is bound to drive the rapid development of application industries such as machinery manufacturing, automobiles, new energy, high-speed railway, urban transportation, aerospace, shipbuilding, petrochemical, IT, electronic appliances and infrastructure, thus bring new business opportunities to the fastener industry.

At Hall 1 Equipment, Wire, Mold and Consumables, Hyodong, Nedschroef, Carlo Salvi, ASAHI SUNAC, National Machinery LLC, WAFIOS, SACMA, Japan Sakamura, Ningbo Sijin, Ningbo Haixing, Zhejiang Yeswin, Marposs, South Korea 3View, Kunshan CCM, Guangdong Yuhai/Hubei Tengfeng, Shanghai Chunri, Huangshan Shengrui, Yangzhou Canaan, Shanghai Remex, Foshan Vanwell, Dongguan Yingxing, Kunshan KSDW, Ma Steel, Bao Steel, An Steel, Xingtai Iron & Steel, Kunshan Dabao and Taicang Ming Hao brought their core products, such as fastener manufacturing equipment, auxiliary fastener manufacturing equipment, fastener testing equipment and measuring instruments, fastener moulds and consumables and raw materials for fasteners.

Hall 2 of finished fastener products dedicatedly set up featured sectors of automobile and high-strength fastener, fastener brand pavilion, export fastener and integrated fastener, Jiashan pavilion and Hebei pavilion. A batch of pioneering enterprises in the industry sparkled the show, including Tenglong/Shandong Tengda, Changshu City Standard Parts Factory, Shanghai Prime Machinery, Shenzhen DH, Zhejiang San Tie, Hangzhou Yougongpin, Zhejiang Tong Ming, Jinshang, Patta International, Jinan/Xinderun, Shanghai Auto Standard Component, Eagle and Shanghai High Stength. The hall gathered professionals from fastener industry chain, including purchasers, dealers, traders, terminal providers and manufacturers both at home and abroad, and the popularity of the scene was overwhelming.

The two international purchasing meetings held by the organizers were popular among the visitors. About 70 companies from Russia, Singapore, Belarus, Ukraine, Colombia, Vietnam and other countries and regions exchanged their ideas with domestic exhibitors, which laid a solid foundation for future economic and trade cooperation.

As a concurrent event, Theme Lecture of Fastener Technologies Exchange had three sessions. The technical experts in the industry were invited to make reports on fastener preloading and anti-loose, new fastener materials, new technology, and fastener industry chain to help the industry peers solve actual problems. The speakers reported the innovative ideas and trends in the industry, attracting numerous listeners.

The Appreciation Banquet of International Fastener Show China, Purchasing Meeting in Auto Industry and the Third Session of the 8th Standing Council of China Fastener Industry Association also took place during the show.

International Fastener Show China 2019 is hosted by China General Machine Components Industry Association, China Fastener Industry Association of CMCA, Shanghai Afastener Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd. The next edition will be held from 22-24 June, 2020 at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center.
